• Projects & Activities

    The Cluster promotes projects that:

    · Create new business opportunities
    · Promote innovation and technological development
    · Add value to the tourism industry and to the Madrid Region

It provides, if necessary, the interaction of private sector companies with government entities and vice versa

It supports the internationalization of enterprises

Some examples of projects developed in line with our goals, and which try to add value to our partners and the tourism sector of the Madrid Region, include:

:: IClient - A pilot project for the integration of hotel services and tourism content on the iPhone platform.
:: Madrid Medical Center - a project sponsored by the Tourism and Health and Welfare Clusters which has resulted in a newly created company called Madrid Medical Destination, involving different companies in the sector, related to both health and tourism, interested in positioning the Madrid Region as an excellent destination for the provision of medical and hospital services in the private sector.
:: Check out via SMS - a resource-saving project allowing customers to avoid queues at hotel receptions
:: Platform for the translation of restaurant menus

And in line with our goal to help in the internationalization of companies belonging to the Cluster, we have worked on several projects in Latin America. By signing cooperation agreements, members of the Madrid Region Tourism Cluster can participate in projects currently under development, where their experience and products provide added value.
